County of Santa Barbara Tajiguas Resource Recovery Project Project and Construction Management Services Santa Barbara, California
The Challenges
Anser Advisory currently provides project and construction management services for the construction of a $145M Material Recycling Facility (MRF) and an anaerobic Digester Facility (ADF) at the Tajiguas landfill for the County of Santa Barbara. The project is constructed under the jurisdiction of the RRWMD for the County of Santa Barbara. The MRF includes the construction of a 53,000 SF reinforced concrete facility that houses the required sorting and handling equipment. The ADF includes the construction of a separate 43,000 SF facility at a different location within the landfill. This project is being developed using the Design Build Operate and Maintain (DBOM) delivery method. The facility is being constructed and operated by MSB Developers Group. The project is approximately 50% complete and will be in operation by the end of 2020.
