The Challenges
The Port of Long Beach (POLB) selected Simplus to provide on-call construction management support services on an as-needed basis for their capital improvement program. Services include constructability reviews, construction management and construction contract administration, continuous field inspection, claims analysis and support, document control and project controls, scheduling, estimating, coordination of construction contractors, sub-contractors and any other persons working at the site, procedure manual preparation, SWPPP compliance and training, construction management training, environmental regulatory support, building commissioning, systems analysis and support, or other services as required.
